UCA Robotics Club marks first part with an exciting exhibit

Οnce again, history has been made in United Christian Academy (UCA) as the first batch of the UCA Robotics Club, in partnership with Optimus Innovation Technologies Corporation, conducted its first robotics exhibit last November 27 to 28, Thursday to Friday, at the UCA Auditorium. This marks their successful completion of the workshop’s first part.

It was a day of showcasing the hardwork and efforts of the students in learning basic programming and coding, and putting it in practical application.

As preparation for the exhibit, the club members worked hand-in-hand with their groupmates to successfully operate their robots and present them on stage. The elementary students coded a devivery robot while the high school students did an ambulance robot.

The students shared that they truly enjoyed being part of the club. They learned how to program and code robots, and at the same time developed valuable life skills such as communication, patience, and teamwork. They expressed how these experiences made the sessions both fun and meaningful.

After the exhibit, each student exhibitor was proudly presented with a Certificate of Participation. The students received their certificates with heartfelt joy, joined by their parents who shared in the excitement and celebrated their hard work, creativity, and dedication throughout the sessions.

Truly, the Robotics Club is an avenue for students to not only gain knowledge, but also to inculcate in them the principle of perseverance.
